Dick's Lumber has one of the largest selections of rough sawn Beams, Posts, and Timbers in Canada. A wide range of sizes from 2” x 4” thru 12” x 12” from 8’ to 30’ long are available in several species: Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, and Western Red Cedar.
Grades available are: Standard and Utility which have no design values and are used in applications where strength is not required, No. 1 and No. 2 which are used for structural purposes, Select Structural for high strength and appearance, Clears for appearance end use.
Our knowledgeable staff can also have material custom processed:
- cut to other dimensions on request, or if larger sizes are required special orders may be placed for stock up to 24” x 24”
- treated with ACQ or CCA
- moisture content reduced to 19% or less thru micro wave kilns
- dressed S4S – smooth 4 surfaces
